VIRGINIA’S HOUSE - FAMILY RESOURCE & CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER

Meets vital needs of children & families in the community. Child advocacy program aims to minimize the trauma for child abuse victims during the investigation and prosecution of such case. The center provides counseling, education and investigative services in a child-friendly setting. Similar services are provided for adult victims of violent crimes. The youth/adult mentor program provides one-on-one mentoring to at risk children. Community volunteers act as court appointed special advocate for abused & neglected children in foster care. The center serves as a community coordinating agency, bringing together the entities necessary to ensure the needs of children and families.
